We wanted to say how wonderful the course has been for our family. Rob has been free from asthma now for 16 years, Tom and Skye who were using inhalers on a regular basis are now medication free. Jimi who was a severe unstable asthmatic, regularly hospitalised and on one occasion helicoptered to Auckland, and on high doses of medication. She is now free of asthma, I think when she got a cold this winter she used an inhaler once, otherwise, even after experiencing Covid and the flu, she has been asthma free. This has been absolutely life changing for her. She can now follow her outdoor pursuits, including surf lifesaving, without a struggle, and can tramp to remote places, which was too risky previously. Regarding my asthma, diagnosed as Aspirin induced asthma, which was exacerbated by salicylic high foods, I have finally recovered at last, and feel sure the Buteyko course has been the foundation for my recovery.
We are so appreciative and feel this course is literally life changing for asthmatics in particular. You are a wonderful tutor Glenn and made the course so easy and enjoyable with your engaging personality. We feel privileged that you have shared your knowledge with us and, again literally, not glibly, changed our lives.
