I have to use my blue turbuhaler at least twice a day, a hit in the morning, and another just before I walk into Les Mills Gym. After my 10 minute run on the treadmill I have to go 'cool down', so to speak....in other words, stand against the stretching bar and grab my breath for 5 minutes, so that I can continue my torturous regime of trying to get fit....with asthma.
This is a long hard road that seems to be taking ages, and everywhere I go, I need to pre-think whether I will need to take my inhaler with me. This weekend, when I go to buy some new shorts I will need to make sure that there is a pocket that will accommodate my lifeline, The Blue Inhaler. It rules my life. This is because my asthma is bad enough to give me problems that prevent me from achieving the daily routines that other non asthmatic people take for granted."
That was 8 Months ago. That was another person. That was another life.
I do not use my inhaler. I do not struggle to breathe. I do not buy clothes to 'suit' The Blue Inhaler.
I do take daily routines for granted. I do live life the way I want to. Buteyko saved my life.
I am Asthma free.
